University Of Houston

University of Houston is located at 4800 Calhoun Road, Houston, Texas 77004. UH was founded in 1927 and adopted the cougar mascot in 1947. University of Houston is a major public research and testing instition, serving more than 38,500 students with nearly 300 undergraduate and graduate programs. There are many cool interesting traditions at UH. Each year they celebrate Frontier Fiesta, which is a student-run event that has carnival booths, multicultural performaces and a world-class BBQ cook-off. The University of Houston has a long tradition of community service, which is a a reason why I want to attend. The size of UH is 667-acres. The University of Houston has many scholarships, fellowships, and other financial aid to graduate students and undergraduate students.
